T. iaret
The forgotten warrior[/center]
Name of Cat:
Tiaret.
Age of Cat:
20 Moons.
Rank of Cat:
Kittypet.
Gender of Cat:
She-cat.
Appearance:
Tiaret is a slender she-cat, with long legs and dainty paws; her ears are well shaped and her eyes, a deep green, are always filled with a gentle look. Her body is covered with short fur, the base coat white while tortoiseshell patches spread across the top. Orange and black are the main tortoiseshell colors, but a soft brown color flecks the patches of orange every now and then; a rather large black patch covers the right side of her face. Her tail, like her legs, is long and mainly white except for the black spot on the very tip.
Tiaret is well proportioned, her muscles still intact from her DarkClan days, though they aren’t as prominent as they used to be; however, cats are able to tell that she has muscles. Her claws are still sharp, and she intends to keep them that way. Tiaret is slightly small in size, but she makes up for her size with her speed which has yet to fail her.
Personality:
Tiaret is a kind creature, caring towards those she loves; her heart is gold and her intentions are pure, though, it may not always seem like that. She’s a gentle she-cat, protective of her only kit, Mufasa, and her territory; she’ll often sit up on the fencepost during the day and guard her home from cats who stray to close – that is, when she’s not caring for Mufasa.
During the time when Mufasa is asleep, Tiaret will often wander into the backyard and sit near her mate’s grave, mourning silently for him; at other times, she’ll hunt the small prey that inhabits the backyard -such as birds, mice, and squirrels- like she used to back when she was an apprentice in DarkClan. Tiaret, at night, will often dream about her mother and her mate, and about what her future would hold – hoping that it would be filled with joy and not sorrow for she is fed up with sadness and having to mourn.
Despite her current state of life, Tiaret often reminisces about her time spent in DarkClan – well, the good times anyway. She thinks about how she and Rose met, or about how she felt when she was made into Turtle Warrior Froststorm…Though, when she remembers, she is often haunted by the pain that had been forced upon her in her life there – haunted by the pain of her mother morphing into a cold-hearted creature, by the pain of her mother killing herself.
However, whenever these memories come about, she reminisces about the day when she and her mate expressed their love for each other and the birth of her kit. Everyday Tiaret thanks StarClan for bestowing upon her her little bundle of joy, and everyday she vows to care for him and teach him what Striker Warrior Darkdust taught her.
History:
Born to Moonheart and Turtlespine of HillClan, Tiaret never knew her father for she was born as a single kit in a small hollow nestled in the safety of a dense forest with only her mother to protect her. The kit’s father, along with most of her would-be Clanmates, had been massacred in a raid lead by a band of rogues and somehow, Moonheart managed to escape. Moonheart and Tiaret, Patchkit at that time, lived in peace until Tiaret was about three moons when the two were forced to leave as a result to the Twolegs that began appearing more frequently.
So, Moonheart and Tiaret traveled onward, passing through many different lands; however, when Tiaret was about seven moons old and know called Patchpaw, the little family stumbled upon the Clans of the Seasons – and DarkClan; drawn to the strange ways of DarkClan, Moonheart decided that that Clan would be their new home. Eager to have a home again, Tiaret readily followed her mother. Since she never actually had any traditions to follow, Tiaret gladly accepted the ways of DarkClan – despite how strange they were. Moonheart and Tiaret were accepted into the Clan by the leader, Moon, and Moonheart was made the Second-in-Command; Tiaret was assigned a mentor, Striker Warrior Darkdust.
Tiaret learned quickly and enjoyed Striker’s company since there weren’t that many apprentices – except for Kalder Rogue who Tiaret didn’t talk to very much. However, she was able to make one friend – Rosepaw of WinterClan. The two met one night at the Lake while Rosepaw was alone and Tiaret was foolishly trying to hide; Rosepaw soon discovered Tiaret for she slipped on a wet rock and tumbled into the icy waters, but Tiaret soon warmed up to the WinterClan apprentice when she offered to teach Tiaret to fish. She accepted and soon the two were chatting like old friends.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months; during that time, Moon had mysteriously disappeared, which left Moonheart as Moonstar. Though, the life of DarkClan had turned her mother from the kind creature she had once been into the cold beast that now inhabited her; yet, Tiaret refused to believe such things, even though she knew it was true. Moonstar, once her training was up, renamed Tiaret several times – unsure of what to call her daughter; Tiaret went from Patchpaw to Patchpelt to Turtlespine to Turtle. Over that time, Rose had come to join DarkClan and had changed her name to Desert Warrior Rose in remembrance of her former WinterClan mentor who had been a companion to Moon in his past life. Along with Rose, came another she-cat named Cheetahpaw, though, she was soon renamed to Timecall Warrior Arrow; Tiaret and Timecall were friends, but not as good as friends as Tiaret and Rose – oh no.
Soon, a new terror arose on the horizon; Twolegs began invading the territory of the Season Clans and DarkClan and taking cats, some never to be seen again and some to be seen again mutated in some way. Tiaret and her mother were one of the lucky few who were not captured, but the events caused such a strain on Moonstar that she began acting strangely. Her mother eventually appointed a second-in-command and then mysteriously disappeared – never to be seen again except in a dream where Moonheart came to speak to her from StarClan; her mother had committed suicide. Devastated, Tiaret mourned for her mother till another disaster struck, forcing Tiaret to leave DarkClan forever.
She traveled long and hard – to the point where she began to rarely hunt or care properly for herself. Tiaret covered great distances in weeks, forcing herself to a point of exhaustion. One day, she collapsed and fainted in the backyard of a Two-leg unknown to her; when she awoke, she found herself in a comfy nest with a handsome tortoiseshell tom watching her. Slightly delusional, Tiaret nearly attacked the tom when he neared her, but the excitement had been too much for her and she fainted. Again.
Tiaret slowly recovered with the help of Mufasa, the tom, and his Twolegs and was renamed Tiaret; she eventually began to trust them and grow used to the life of a kittypet – and liked it. Tiaret enjoyed the comfort of the carpets beneath her paws, as well as the feeling of safety. Though, the food wasn’t all that great, her Twolegs trusted her and Mufasa enough to let them roam free during the day. And with each passing day, Tiaret and Mufasa grew closer till they expressed their love for each other.
They mated within the next month and Tiaret was soon pregnant; however, illness suddenly overcame Mufasa and a month later, he died; Tiaret, at that time, was heavy with kits and mourned for his loss, though, his loss had to be temporarily forgotten for she went into labor the very next day. She gave birth to a single tom-kit – a mirror image of Mufasa; and in memory of her lost love, Tiaret named her son Mufasa. The two are now living happily together, though, every now and then, Tiaret goes into a state of depression.
