Exercise your respect for other members. If an admin does something, don't question it. If someone points out a fault, don't argue. I'm getting tired of seeing, "OMG U JERK!" everywhere, so. If I see one more offensive comment, then it's deletion and banning by IP/email to whoever says it. (:

This site is not rated.. If you plan to add content to a topic, say so. "MATURE CONTENT"
Rules for new members :
o Choose a username. It can be anything!
o But you must go to your profile and edit your display name to the cat you're playing on that account.
o Fill out an application for your cat, and post it in the Beginning board.
o Wait for an admin to accept you; you cannot roleplay your cat until you have been accepted. If the current admin of this clan is not present at the time that you've posted, another admin may take responsibility and accept it.
To show that you read this rule, put parenthesis around your name. If you don't know what those are, parenthesizes are these symbols: ( )
Your name should look like this: (Name enclosed here).
An admin will alter your name once your application has been looked at, and hopefully accepted. This shows us that you are still a pending member.
New account for each cat you want to play. (No matter how unimportant or small.)
Please Keep In Mind The Following...:
A loner can have any name, like Spots or Rusty.
But, a Clan cat is different.
The name is a compound word. The first part is a noun, adjective, or present tense verb. The second part is a noun. Don't include man-made things, or objects that the cat's would not know about. ie: dragons, sharks, wolves, metals, etc.
Be reasonable, and realistic in the Warrior sense when creating a name. If you have trouble, check the Names board.
The word 'star' is not to be included in any cat name other than a leader's.
The word 'paw' is not to be included in any cat name other than an apprentice's.
The word 'kit' is not to be included in any cat name other than a cat that is younger than six moons.
Examples:
Bad names - Skytree, Groundearth, Greengrass, Birdhop, Leappaw.
Good names - Skykit, Groundkit, Greenwind, Birdfeather, Leapingpaw.

Rules for general chat :
o No major chatspeak. You should know proper English by now; exercise that ability. Things like g2g, btw, lol, and the like are fine. OOC grammar doesn't matter as much as IC does.
o Signatures should not be over 515px wide and 200px tall.
o If you have a question, please PM an admin or post in the support board. Either would be fine, but I would prefer you post in the support board in case someone else has a similar question. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION, please, please, ask.
o Inactive accounts will get deleted. (Having not posted in over five days without a reason is considered being inactive.) Activity checks will be held, but you're expected to be responsible too.

Rules for role playing :
o If you wish to have a new character, you must create a new account under that name, and post the application under that account. No exceptions.
o Applications must be up to par with our expectations. Keep in mind that we want this site to be decent, with proper roleplaying and reasonable cats. If you're having trouble with an application, look at accepted cats of that same rank, and read them carefully. Note details in their appearance, personality, and history (like family members, or memorable events) to help your application stick out.
Run your post through a spell-checker, to get rid of nasty typos or simple mistakes. If you're still having trouble getting your cat's biography accepted, ask for some support from members and get their opinions. Don't complain if you're rejected; you should have read the rules first and should have seen what we're looking for.
If you are rejected, it isn't our fault. We tried.
o Please keep in mind that your cat can't jump ahead in time. You are only allowed to play your character in one area at a time.
o However, you are allowed to have as many cats as you want, in any clan you want; hoping that you can control them all without letting one fall behind. BUT PLEASE do not crowd all of your cats in the same clan. The most I would like you to have in the same clan is two-three; and that's if you have a good reason. THINK OF THE OTHER CLANS.
o If you create a topic in CloudClan (or any clan for that matter) the topic must stay in CloudClan. The roleplay cannot change direction and suddenly move into LittleClan territory, while the topic is still located in a CloudClan board.
If you plan to move your cat into a different territory, or section of the clan, then you must move them to that board and create a new thread.
TO MAKE SURE THAT PEOPLE KNOW YOUR CAT HAS MOVED, please post something along the lines of "Galestar has left the area" or "Brightstar has gone to Falls-Island"; you get the drift?

Rules for role playing (fighting/hunting/etc) :
o The outcome of a fight is to be decided before the actual fight takes place.
o No power playing. Allow the user to control their own cat. If you happen to be in a skirmish, agree upon the proper amount of damage that each cat will receive prior to the battle.
o No god modeling/modeling. Your cat can die, and will eventually. They are not, as stated, a god. Leaders are the only cats with nine lives, and even they will die one day...
o You do not need to contact an admin before fighting, but you must contact the owner of the other cat to agree to this brawl.
o Please, no graphic mating scenes. If you would like to do so over PM, that's fine, but do not post it publicly. Same goes for birthing; though, you must post a birthing topic in order to introduce the kits into the clan, and name them.
o I would appreciate it if you did not play all of the kits. A queen, on LitL, is given the chance to have up to four kits, and the owner of the queen is given the chance to play one of them. The other three must either be 1) killed off 2) put up for adoption. You are allowed to decide whatever else you would like with these kits (personalities, appearance, future, etc) seeing as they are yours.
o You do not need to contact an admin to kill off a character, however, you must post a thread in New Arrivals (located under Silverpelt) once your cat has died so everyone knows.
o As the warrior code states, a cat must hunt for the clan before hunting for themselves. At least once a week (a real life week) your cat should go hunting for the clan, to make sure that fresh-kill supplies aren't too low. (: If prey levels give signs of dropping in a clan, then an admin will post about it...either way, you'll know.
o Your one rule from the end, think you can handle it? Now, to make sure that you've read this far, we need you to put this phrase in your application, preferably at the top: "Oohh, it's good to be a cat."
o You are expected to know how to role play, and decently. None of this 'literate'/'illiterate' stuff, got it? We don't eat 'm00fins', and we don't use 'sp0rks'. Roleplaying is an art, and it's participants were not meant to be given absurd labels. What the hell is so great about a spork anyway?
